Philosophy on Body Work
My philosophy on massage comes from the various modalities I’ve encountered over the past ten years of being a massage therapist. I’ve worked closely with physical therapists, chiropractors, fitness instructors and many other healers. The body’s ability to repair itself with the right modality and self-discipline is absolutely fascinating and an inspiration to me. I believe that the body operates as a whole unit. If one aspect is off, then the whole system can be compromised. Massage is a practice that doesn’t only come from the therapist, but the consciousness of the individual as well. It’s a collaboration in healing! Once we learn to bridge the gap from Body to Brain, the results can happen so easily and effortlessly that you would think they naturally fell into place on their own. With the proper application and intuition, massage/physical touch can be life changing for anyone.

I have a unique perspective when it comes to Massage Therapists. First, I am an Osteopathic Physician, which means I have been trained in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy (OMT). OMT incorporates High Velocity Low Amplitude techniques, but also incorporates Muscle Energy and Indirect Technique, which are very similar to Massage Therapy. Second, I have received massages all over the world, by many different Massage Therapists. Lastly, I am a big man. It takes a great deal of strength and skill to perform an effective massage on all body types. Christopher Comisari is one of the best Massage Therapists I have met. He understands human anatomy and physiology. He applies the exact amount of appropriate pressure. Sometimes I have presented with specific pain, other times he has found issues intuitively. Either way I have always left improved.
Christopher genuinely cares about and listens to his clients. He constantly learns new techniques. Christopher Comisari is professional, fit, skilled, caring, strong, knowledgeable, handsome and has a great sense of humor. Amazing hands. Superior person.
One of the absolute best Massage Therapists of the craft.

Chris is an amazing holistic Massage Therapist. He always intuitively knows how to alleviate my symptoms, whether its general aches and pains or from a tweaked body as a result of sitting at a desk all day. Additionally, he always tailors the massage to my specific needs, which can change because I have MS ( Multiple Sclerosis) and some days I need a gentle massage while other days might call for something with more pressure. Either way, I know when I see him that muscle tension relief is a guarantee!
He also is always thinking of ways to help me in between sessions, whether it’s suggesting different stretches or exercises that I might benefit from. Chris truly does an exceptional job of offering full body care and is committed to making you feel better. As a bonus, he has a great sense of humor and an easy going personality which always makes for a relaxing and enjoyable session!

My body was a mess before I started seeing Chris. I work at a desk all day and I was starting to notice a decline in my range of mobility. I needed to make a change. Someone recommended massage and I found Chris.
Not only are his massages excellent, but he's given me lots of great lifestyle tips and exercises to make sure I stay healthy. My mobility has improved and I feel like I have a new body. What a difference!

Chris has provided by far the best massage experience I have ever had. He was extremely friendly, made me feel relaxed and comfortable and surprised me with how educated he was regarding anatomy and muscle groups.
His ability to provide the right amount of pressure was spot on, and the techniques he used on each specific muscle group by far surpassed any other 'basic' massage I've had. He has proven to be an expert at his craft and will be my go-to Masseur from now on. Thank you Chris!
